Liftz

• Account information — name and email address provided via Google or Apple Sign In
• Fitness profile — age, gender, height, weight, fitness goals, and experience level you enter during onboarding
• Workout data — exercises, sets, reps, weights, and session history you log in the app
• Readiness inputs — sleep, activity, recovery, and workout context used to calculate your daily readiness
• Hunt location data — precise GPS route points, timestamps, distance, speed, accuracy, and heading while you record a Hunt walk, including background location if you allow it
• Hunt challenge data — League score, quest progress, milestones, anti-abuse review flags, reward eligibility, and reward payout status
• Subscription data — your subscription status and transaction identifiers, processed by RevenueCat and the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android). We never receive your full payment card details
• Usage & diagnostics — app interaction events and crash/diagnostic logs, used to improve reliability and fix bugs
• Device information — basic device type and OS version for app compatibility

• Generate personalised workout plans tailored to your goals and readiness
• Track your progress, personal records, and muscle recovery over time
• Record Hunt routes, calculate verified walk distance, show route history, and run monthly League/reward reviews
• Manage your Liftz Pro subscription and entitlements
• Improve app performance and fix bugs
• Send optional push notifications (you can disable these at any time)

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

Your data is stored securely on our servers and protected with industry-standard encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest.

Authentication is handled by Firebase Authentication (Google). We never store your Google or Apple passwords.

If you sign in with Apple, Apple may provide an anonymised relay email address. We use this only for account creation and communication. If you sign in with Google, we receive the name and email address associated with your Google account.

Liftz may request access to Apple HealthKit (iOS) or Health Connect (Android) to read activity and health data such as steps, active energy, workouts, and sleep. This data is used only within the app to power readiness, activity summaries, and workout guidance. It is never used for advertising, shared with, or sold to third parties.

Liftz requests location permission only for Hunt features. When you start a Hunt walk, precise location is used to draw your route, calculate distance, update Live Activity, support background recording, and verify League eligibility. If you join monthly reward challenges, route quality metrics may be reviewed by Liftz admins before rewards are approved.

You can stop a Hunt at any time and can revoke location access in your device's Settings app (iOS: Settings → Liftz → Location; Android: Settings → Apps → Liftz → Permissions → Location). If location permission is denied, Hunt route tracking and reward eligibility features may not work.

We use trusted service providers to operate Liftz. They process data only on our behalf — never for their own advertising:

• Google Firebase — authentication, analytics, crash reporting, and push notifications
• RevenueCat — subscription management
• Apple — Sign in with Apple and App Store in-app purchases (iOS)
• Google Play — Sign in with Google and Play Billing in-app purchases (Android)

• Request a copy of all data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and all associated data
• Opt out of any non-essential data collection

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the app (Settings), or see delete-account.html for step-by-step instructions and what happens without the app installed.

Liftz is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
